Year-in-year-out, as the cost and hassle of foreign holidays increases, the popularity of the Scottish Highlands as a holiday destination has grown. And whilst there are plenty of agreeable places to stay here in the Highlands, we feel that Cawdor Estate has all the ingredients to make your Scottish Highland vacation truly memorable.
We have six very distinctive holiday lets, ranging from a snug one-bedroomed former keeper’s house to a grand hunting lodge capable of catering for over twenty guests. Our holiday lets are refurbished to Lady Cawdor’s exacting standards, all tastefully upgraded to offer a pleasing combination of authentic old-worldly charm alongside modern facilities including free Wi-Fi.
We offer our guests peace and tranquillity without being isolated from the outside world. Cawdor village, with shop and Tavern, is a short drive away and the Estate is easily accessed from the three major Highland gateways of Inverness, Aberdeen and Perth. Inverness and Aberdeen airports provide national and international connections and there are mainline railway stations close by at Nairn, Inverness and Aviemore. Nearby can be found the popular seaside town of Nairn, famed for its dry and sunny climate, and also the attractive Highland villages of Carrbridge and Grantown-on-Spey. All around us lies the heather clad moors, pine forests, fast flowing rivers and granite mountains which the Scottish Highlands are famed for.
We offer a bespoke holiday experience; both self and fully catered options are available and our staff are happy to help you create your ideal Highland holiday. Whether you are a couple looking for a romantic weekend break, or a gathering of family and friends seeking to share a longer vacation, we trust that Cawdor Estate can provide the perfect setting for your Scottish Highlands vacation.
