To the south, the Cairngorms National Park offers an adventure. Around Aviemore, the terrain lends itself to hill walking, mountain biking, watersports and winter snowsports. Within easy reach of Cawdor, in particular Resaurie, it provides scope for more active days before returning to the quiet of the estate.
